What to Expect

When you come to the “Tabernacle” one can expect to worship with a diverse group of people who show their love for God, by accepting the people of God regardless of their individual struggles within/without. One will find an inclusive style of ministry that will allow them to apply the word of God to their lives daily. We welcome you to help us Praise our Lord and Savior in a warm and joyous atmosphere. We celebrate and worship the presence of God through praise, singing, praying, preaching, teaching, and drama. Feel free to come casual or dressy, either way you will be accepted. The only standard that we have is in the motto that we have adopted: “No Perfect People Allowed.” (No Perfect People Allowed by John Burke).

Our vision is to use innovative tools of evangelism to reach a diverse community in the East End and Greater Bridgeport vicinity for God, as revealed in Jesus Christ; utilizing biblical teaching, dynamic worship, spiritual gifts and natural talent development in a judgment-free zone and to enhance and produce mature Saints in a spirit of excellence for the work of ministry.
